As part of Harlem Day, the BRC Orches­tra pays trib­ute to Jimi Hen­drix and the Band of Gyp­sys, Sun­day, August 17, 5 PM at Fifth Avenue @ 135th Street! Per­form­ing for the BRC Orches­tra will be the Sophia Ramos Group, the orig­i­nal mem­bers of Liv­ing Colour ( Muzzy in the house Y’all!! ),Lon­nie Young­blood, Danielia Cot­ton and the Sugar! Have a feelin this will draw out all the old BRC heads so get there early.…. you know how much space heads take up when they get old!

Chore­o­g­ra­phers Gabri Christa and Niles Ford con­tinue to nur­ture a rela­tion­ship with Burnt Sugar that goes back to 1992 when we did Cen­tral Park Sum­mer­stage together. This time we’ll get together to turn out PS 122 for four nights from the 1st to the 4th.
